Hi, I’m Dr Nivek Jones.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with specialist training and experience in adult mental health and perinatal mental health care. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological concerns, offering thoughtful, evidence-based support tailored to each person’s unique needs and circumstances.
I value compassionate, collaborative care and a place that is safe to explore deeply important issues. I work with a broad range of psychological concerns relevant to adulthood, as well as providing focused support for families during the perinatal period, including maternity and neonatal care.
Alongside my clinical work, I value collaboration with other health professionals and bring a reflective, compassionate approach to both individual therapy and professional consultation.

My Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, openness, and collaboration. I draw on a blend of evidence-based models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) encompassing components of Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema-informed CBT, all informed by systemic training that allows the important context of our lives to be explored.
